Johnstown residents will have a chance to gather for food, music, games and family activities during Community Neighbor Nights on Friday, June 19, at the Johnstown Community YMCA.
The free community event will run from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Johnstown Community YMCA, located at 165 Settler Way. The event is a collaboration between Thompson Rivers Parks & Recreation, the Johnstown Community YMCA and the Town of Johnstown.
According to Thompson Rivers Parks & Recreation, the evening will include food trucks, live music from Laurie & Lorrie, face painting, lawn and carnival games, volleyball, bounce houses, family activities and more.
Family and children’s activities are scheduled from 6 to 7:30 p.m., followed by live music from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Food trucks are expected to be available throughout the event.
The Town of Johnstown says the event is part of a summer effort to bring fun, food and music to the community. A second Community Neighbor Nights event is also planned for July 24.
No registration is required.
